Training future scaffolders is a core part of SRT’s identity. Committed to giving back to the industry, the company provides apprentices with the skills, confidence, and safety mindset needed for long-term success.
As a CITB-registered business, SRT delivers its apprenticeship programme through the CISRS scheme, ensuring high standards and a clear pathway for development.
The FORS journey
SRT began its FORS journey with the aim of strengthening compliance and improving operational safety. As industry expectations evolved, it became a strategic step forward.
Achieving FORS Bronze introduced a structured framework for fleet management, covering areas such as driver oversight, training records, daily vehicle checks, fuel monitoring, and evidence-based compliance processes.
This approach has made SRT’s fleet safer, more reliable, and more consistent, while giving the team greater clarity and confidence in day-to-day operations. The FORS Standard now underpins the business, with clear documentation acting as a central reference point for both management and drivers.
FORS Bronze has also reinforced accountability. Daily defect checks ensure vehicles are roadworthy before leaving the yard, while written policies, mandatory training, and regular audits help maintain high standards across the business.
SRT Scaffolding’s journey reflects resilience, growth, and continuous improvement. From humble beginnings to recognised industry accreditation, Danny and Terri have built a company defined by quality, safety, and a commitment to developing the next generation.
